If you froze and it didn't shut down on it's own then it didn't work and you have to try again.

I'm all set, I was just advising that the button worked for me when I initially froze. :D

When my slim froze a couple of times I was able to hold the power button to shut it down.

As of last night, red's was legit as I used it but yes this could be dangerous to your system, that is why they suggest hosting the files yourself.

Did you verify the MD5 checksum? I had a bad download and had to grab it again. Verify it on the usb stick, not on your hard drive.

Mine froze a few times too but I just kept at it. I made sure my homescreen was blank and deleted cache/cookies etc then restarted browser and went from there.
