    update: i got everything to work and imaged Fedora 12 PPC to a DVD-R. It booted fine, going to install to an external HDD tomorrow.

    Isn’t that just the case for 1.xx? Also, that’s interesting. So essentially, if I want to go to a low version, I have to do 4.90 CFW -> 3.55 CFW -> the version I want?

    I mean, my goal is to go to 2.70 or 2.80 because I want to mess around with otheros (since I have no idea how to do otheros++) plus I want to have the original startup.

    Essentially, I enabled the QA flag on my PS3 (CECH-2001A, evilnat 4.90) and I have the debug options. Do I just need to enable system update debugging and then install an OFW or CFW version of an older version from the XMB? Thanks
