    PS3 qCFW - Arrives to Slim (2500-3000) & SuperSlim (4000-NOR) PlayStation 3 Models

I also found that overvolting actually subtracts from stability. With 1.2 or 1.1 900 will crash for me, but with "FF" value (not sure how to tell what FF is for my 43xx) 900 can apply. Has anyone tried to read the HDD using the key export? The instructions are pretty confusing, at least for me.

    PS3 qCFW - Arrives to Slim (2500-3000) & SuperSlim (4000-NOR) PlayStation 3 Models

Correction - I can only get 900/725 stable. That frequency actually did not apply for some reason. Looking into overvolting but first I need to figure out syscon, my putty terminal is not working.

    PS3 qCFW - Arrives to Slim (2500-3000) & SuperSlim (4000-NOR) PlayStation 3 Models

Thank you so much for all your help! I did the following wiring and finally my GND was stable for multiple boots. The 43XX is an absolute tank. I got it up to ~1000~ *900 on the GPU and temps are under 65 the whole time. What a mod - never thought it would be possible for any sort of CFW in the...

    PS3 qCFW - Arrives to Slim (2500-3000) & SuperSlim (4000-NOR) PlayStation 3 Models

Lesson learned! Shortening and re-routing away from motherboard and other wires worked. Thanks so much for your help. The default HEN in xploit also works fine with latest QFW release. Edit: I can also confirm that BANKSEL works. I just had an issue where I was in-game (GT6) and it...

    PS3 qCFW - Arrives to Slim (2500-3000) & SuperSlim (4000-NOR) PlayStation 3 Models

Thank you for responding! Stagex shows success. I then power down, unplug and replug waiting for the solid light. I double checked my CMD/CLK. If the wires are somewhat long (around 2ft) maybe that could be the issue? I also route them all out together. Even though my resistances are 55Ohm on...

    PS3 qCFW - Arrives to Slim (2500-3000) & SuperSlim (4000-NOR) PlayStation 3 Models

4301C here. I think I got it soldered right (SC_TX to SC_TX in image, not sure if I should reverse) and measured resistance for CMD and CLK - Pico powers on and solid light, flashes quick when powered on, but PS3 keeps bootlooping (green to red, single beep). Every boot the Pico will flash 3...

    PS3 4.93 Evilnat w/ Cobra v8.5 - (CEX/PEX/D-PEX)

Dang, so if my BD is non-functional due to a broken ribbon cable I'm kind of SOL. I'll look into replacing it. Thanks for confirming

    PS3 4.93 Evilnat w/ Cobra v8.5 - (CEX/PEX/D-PEX)

Hey all. After installing a noBD 4.92.2 over a 4.92 regular, my XMB isn't showing any games and I cannot install webman mod (installing from hdd packages does nothing). Any reason this may happen?

PS3 Project RSX Boost: Overclock your Retail PS3 RSX Speeds (ps3 cfw only)

Great video, I also find that Gran Turismo 6, being one of the only 1080p 60FPS games for PS3, benefits the most with RSX overclock. It's just a great game in general.

It's been so stable. Not even so much as a failed boot. I've booted maybe 10 times so far.

    PS3 qCFW - Arrives to Slim (2500-3000) & SuperSlim (4000-NOR) PlayStation 3 Models

Great instructions! Works like a charm. Though funny enough the RSX can only reach 750/950, my 2500 can hit 900/1000.

    Cell CPU OC.

What games benefit from a Cell overclock, anyways? Or are there general system improvements such as install time that come with it, too.

PS3 Project RSX Boost: Overclock your Retail PS3 RSX Speeds (ps3 cfw only)

That's great - I don't see any real detailed pics so this probably is only for super experienced PS3 modders, but I have a superslim I'd love to try at some point (bought new in 2013, don't have serial on hand). Once further detailed instructions come out I totally can try (experience with...

PS3 Project RSX Boost: Overclock your Retail PS3 RSX Speeds (ps3 cfw only)

I can try this out. I have a CP2102 at home if that's sufficient, looks like it is. I can try this with my 2nd PS3 Slim (25xx) which already can do 850. Just let me know what needs to be done (besides soldering instructions in that video), and I'd be happy to guinea pig. But this will be my...
