Update on my trophy menu bug, I reinstalled 4.90 just to see if it existed on there and it doesn't. Lemme explain my process in detail.
So on 4.91, when I go to look at my trophies for a game like, IDK persona 5, the system wouldn't lock up if I let it load ALL the games shown in the list. BUT...
I'll try that, and i'll be sure to have a copy of the evilnat firmware file in case it decides to just not work lmao
UPDATE 4:18 PM: managed to do it! i decided to look at another lines.qrc file from ultimate toolbox and the DDS files are apparently saved as DTX1, plain and simple! Hopefully...
yeah it is, i just dont know what specific type of DDS to save it as so it wont crash the PS3 (I've had loads of trouble modding things that use specific dds formats in the past)
so unless i get photoshop my only chance of getting a better red would be to extract the "enhanced" one from ultimate toolbox and inject it into the default lines.qrc then.
...eh, it'd be better than nothing! plus i used to use that all the time back in 4.88, might as well use it again
well i found a guide that tells me how to save the dds files, problem is that it needs photoshop, and all i have is gimp and paint.net
@LuanTeles is there any other way to save the dds files without the need for photoshop or am i just stuck without it?
So recently the connector for my blu-ray drive broke while I was cleaning the dust off of my motherboard and I installed noBD to get past the issue of games not booting, only problem is that now my PS3 isn't able to launch ANY of my PS2 classics that I have installed. I've had them installed for...
that'd definitely fix a LOT of problems, such as inputs getting stuck at random, full analog range on both sticks, diagonal inputs on the d-pad, PS button support, etc.
