i have a CECHL ps3 with the latest evilnat 4.92 and also the latest webman 1.47.48n installed and recently encountered a problem. every once in a while the ps3 just freezes mid-game and i get a black screen and then the recovery mode screen comes up where it says the firmware cannot be run...

issue solved. for some reason the installation corrupted my hard drive. had to reformat it again on my laptop and now it's working again

so after a long time i decided to install evinat cex 4.90 over the pex 4.90. had some troubles with games not opening and wanted to try if it's any better with cex. big mistake i think. after installing the cex now all in get is a blue screen. that's it. the ps3 turns on fine with only the green...

thanks. i always have the "Disable content scan on startup" option disabled. since my games don't change much and i kinda made myself a custom mygames.xml where i changed the sort order of the games the way i like it but even with the original mygames.xml webman creates it is still very slow...

thanks for the reply. i unplugged all of the usb devices, checked the boot_plugins.txt, only webftp_server.sprx is in there and also checked the vshplugin.ps3mapi and there also only the webftp_server.sprx is running in the background. never had any other plugins running very very strange...
