I ordered the rip-felix tantalizers and the tantalum capacitors. It will take them probably ~3 weeks to arrive where i live. So I'm basically waiting and will update on it when they arrive. As far as i know all ps3 fats are doomed to get the ylod one day, so you should probably get a ps3 slim...

I just did. I see that there is a place for 6 ceramic capacitors, but i also saw that i should be fine with the 3 big ones right? Especially because it's a Slim PS3 right? I can't really find the small, ceramic ones where i live so i hope it will be enough to put 3 tantalum ones in there.

Hey people, I've got a ylod problem. So the console started turning of while playing games, so i repasted it and it was then working fine. Not too long after it started turning of again and now it just shows the yellow light and turns off. I menaged to somehow turn it on and pull up ps3 toolset...
