I think I will be delidding the RSX chip and replacing the paste with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, so hopefully that will solve potential overheating issues. Also I'm using a Slim model 2003...

Would it be possible to create an overclock OFW? What I mean is a modified firmware with only OC and nothing else, so that hopefully there wouldn’t be any PSN ban risks if you want to enter the store, sync trophies and possibly play online.

Never mind. I found the answer in another thread. It was because one of the files for Flash Writer is hidden and therefore does not show on Mac. Works great now :)
I have installed HFW on my slim, but I cannot get any further. If I host the exploit myself (Simple Web Server on Mac) I just get a garbled screen of text a few seconds after the page says downloading patch.
