Thanks, I guess its rabbit hole time. The console was free so there's an incentive to repair it! I'm going to bridge F6001 to rule it out, replace those 2 caps then start digging into the 5V rail i guess..

Thanks for the reply, I saw this on PSdev and to be honest, I don't know where to start looking. F6001 gives good continuity and I pulled off the 2 caps C6019 and C6020 which also check out at 23uF each. So.. down the rabbit hole we go chasing a short on this massive board. Do you know any more...
