I was unaware of the ICON/SFO issue - it is ok now in M7 (7.0.2).

Hopefully it is now fixed in 4.85.01 - I just had no time to add the change in the previous update. Let me know if the problem is resolved. Also Showtime/Movian for MM is updated to 5.0.612 and supports its own upgrade repo so it won't interfere with the 'official' version of Movian.

On the PS3 Movían crashes with SEASON series (where you have a single torrent file with 10-20 episodes). So Movian tries to “probe” each episode to create a thumbnail and it requires A LOT of memory, which the PS3 lacks. One solution is to go for “single episode” torrents or to restart Movian...

First give this one a shot: http://deanbg.com/public/rpi/movian_ps3/Movian_05.00.406_DEX.pkg It is a slightly older version, but nothing major has changed in Movian in relation to the PS3 for the last couple of years anyway. Check if you can install and run it on your DEX PS3 and post back.
