Well hey guys... The story is i've bought a ps3 with a "hdd problem" it turned out the hdd is dead as well but i found a another problem where the update came at roughly 50% (ofw 4.89) and it just jumped over to 100% with the black screen coming on afterwards like usual but the RSOD appears...

Ps3 gave me ylod after turning it off and trying to turn it on few hours later, so i decided to try reflowing it only since i got no tantalums and my soldering skills are bad. Now after the reflow i switch the console power on and it takes like 5-6 seconds for the standby red light to come on...

Well there is a story. i found an cechg04 console with ylod, opened and went to give it a reflow so i could start it up after putting it back together console delays giving me red light by several seconds every time a bit different, while the red light doesnt post the fan is actually spinning...

Could i use my CECHC04 psu in a CECHG04 since the amps on c04 are a bit higher could i cause some problems? Anyone tried similar thing?
