Yes, I have put the update file in the correct path, named the folders properly and even placed the file in an UPDATE folder And yes, I have formatted my usb to FAT32 MBR I don’t know if I’m missing anything or if i’m SOL with this

ughhhh, I've tried multiple times and for 4 hours, from redownloading the update file to doing some odd trick like unplugging the PS3 controller as soon as I press start and select, and I just get the same "no applicable update data found" I really need some help, because I feel like giving up...
