There are 2 saves, before that i deleted PS2 classic placeholder save utility from the dash manualy, and now i have save corrupted, should i reinstall PS2 classic placeholder?

I thought all save data was saved in the PS2ISO/"GAME"/SAVEDATA directory, so I backed up both those .VME files for the game i was playing before trying out PS2 Classics Manager 1.01. I followed the instructions on creating the two ps2 memory cards etc for PS2 Classics Manager and loaded up...

Any suggestions?
