Update: so i've got the cechq fat and i put it in webman settings to auto at 62c. the highest i saw the fan speed get to was 48%. this was testing by playing the prologue on resident evil 6.

I'm trying to change the text on the xmb where it says playstation network but i cant find which file stores the line of text that says "Playstation Network"

alright. so if i just increase the fan speed on this system when i eventually get via webman, i should be fine?

Hello PSXPlace, So my ps3s rsx is dying and it's on its way out so i plan on getting a fat model soon that has a 90nm rsx. I am not really knowledged in the field with rsx's and such. so i'm wondering if there's anything i should be worried about as i've heard lots of different things about 90nm...

I couldnt find lines for the explanation for the actual setting choices themselves but i was able to find explanation text for a setting in the date and time settings and im not sure if i did it right at all because now my console freezes whenever i try to even click date and time settings.

Hello, I am trying to replicate a pre 3.xx firmware look and the last thing i need to do is remove the small explanation texts under the settings options and ive been decompiling rco files and nothings working. Anyone know what the problem could be? for reference, this is what im trying to achieve.

just downloaded the file and i gotta say its perfect other than one thing and i am so so sorry for knitpicking but by the original psn logo i meant the blue ball logo from pre 3.00

and this file has the original psn logo in the xmb, right?

if possible, i'd really like tv/video to be removed. i'll uninstall ultimate toolbox and see if that does the trick.

im not using any other mods off the top of my head, i have ultimate toolbox installed? im not sure if that affects any of it. the file you uploaded is still showing the tv.
