Same problem with 0.9.3. The games for me don't show "Please insert a DS2 constroller...", they normally launch but the controller doesn't respond. I am using ESR r10f. I tried it with Need For Speed Underground 2, Tomb Raider Anniversary, Mafia and NHL 06.

Yes, ontrollers work original disks, just not with backups.
