So, updating to 4.87 and updating webman , and other apps will resolve the freezing issue ?

How can I do step 5 ? I don't have anything under pakage manager unfortunately. The last update gave me a lot of problems because I'm still on 4.86 I think, my ps3 freezes after playing an iso from webman when trying to select another iso. Also I can't install hen toolbox to change startup...
