I don't suppose there is any way to use the SD card port for ROMS on the old BC PS3 models in RetroArch is there? I tried to look but I couldn't find the SD port through RetroArch to launch content or change the default directories.

SOLVED: This was a disc issue. I'm still not 100% sure why they weren't working but it looks like the games I was using were not being read properly. The discs are clean and scratch-free and yet there is some sort of issue with them being read. Tried other games in the system and they work now...

Tried that too. Still no luck. When the With BDVD turned on and inserting the disc it will either eject the disc on its own or bring up an error message that says "Disc Failed to Authenticate".
