For some reason on ps2_emu starting with beta 13 and persisting with beta 14, I'm unable to see the temperature of the CPU & RSX. It was working fine on beta 12.
Sucks that I can't have upscaling off (as I have a RetroTink 4k that does a much better job than the PS3 does), but thankfully I'm probably not going to use ps2_netemu often, but I like having everything working, so it's nice I've found a fix for this!
Update on this, for some reason it only crashes if I have upscaling set to off on the PS3. Setting it to normal lets ps2_netemu work on the SSD. Odd stuff.
A0802022 and the console shuts off immediately, it doesn't just put that error in the log and continue on. Putting in a slower HDD (which had the problem I was experiencing here https://www.psx-place.com/threads/cecha01-hardware-bc-fmv-stutter.44712) allows ps2_netemu to work fine, so I'm pretty...
The Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SSD (MZ-77E1T0B) shuts my PS3 down and ouputs an A0802022 error in the SYSCON logs when I start up a PS2 game with ps2_netemu. Not much of an issue as they work perfectly fine on ps2_emu since I'm using a CECHA01, but just a note for anyone wanting to use this SSD with...
I also noticed that on the OPL GitHub, under "PS3 BC" in the readme, it mentions that HDD mode is compatible with CFW. How was this tested/used for it to be mentioned in the documentation? Must've been able to be used in some capacity if it's mentioned there.
Sure. I went ahead and attached it to this post. I can confirm just renaming the ELF to OPL.ELF, changing the name in SYSTEM.CNF to OPL.ELF, and remaking the ISO in ImgBurn boots into OPL no problem.
I know this is a bit old to be bumping, but has anyone made progress with this yet? I'd love to be able to play games through OPL with an internal hard drive on my CECHA01.
I was able to make an ISO with just a OPL ELF renamed SCUS_972.69 and the SYSTEM.CNF from just making a quick DVD image...
