Anything is possible. The cell overclock was thought to be a no go because it was supposedly locked in the Hypervisor, bootloader, or source code was needed, but here we are ;-). All depend on where knowledge is implemented. Some coders have more tricks then others so who knows when and how...
So from reading 2010 dump, from what I can see is the weather might be called by pic "number". Is this correct or am I missing reading? I tried pic="thunderstorm", pic="fog", pic="windy" yet no dice.
I amm trying to figure out what these weather pics are called to use properly, kinda a pain. But nice find. So far the few that are found is still awesome.
Here is something I found... it says remapping. https://consolemods.org/wiki/PS3:PS3XPAD#:~:text=Reassign your controller to different, connect wirelessly to the adapter.
This is huge, can't wait for a public release. A slight rsx overclock maybe by 50-100mHz and this new found cell overclock will definitely be a game changer.
So close yet so far....10.4 here, I do have a lua game though, if ever able to use.
Edit: So suppedly lua may be possible for 10.4 after all, I just found this tasty bit of a morsel... https://www.reddit.com/r/PS5_Jailbreak/s/X2sZOybyBz
I dont see why not, even maybe a way to contribute to a working client link. Linux based url might be best bet imo since the ps3 in mainly linux. Maybe even a dosbox implementation somehow. I have win95 via dosbox on ps3 game os as a pkg.
I have a theory for links and thumbnails, but as for constantly updated idk. We could always use links, but most likely will be static and not live. Finding live urls that self update or to make a script that updates them is where I run into a wall. We could post static links all day.
You have to manually change it back with a VhsFpsCounter.sprx. There are various versions floating around. Here is one version. Have to unzip files. Replace in dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res.
