Yeah I am aware of XEBPLUS.. Once I get one of those tiny USB sticks I will probably switch to it as I dont believe XEBPLUS can be run from memory card? Also not sure if I could use cheats?
Another vote for exfat hdd support.
It shouldn't be too hard to support exfat hdds here as Neutrino already does it. NHDDL uses Neutrino and loads from my exfat hdd just fine so it is possible.
This could then become the latest greatest loader. Although I think a new, built from scratch loader...
The Grimdoomer version that supports exFAT is too old to have the gameID support that memcard pro 2 needs i believe. If someone has added it to the last version that supports exFAT for large HDDs then please link me to it. That would be perfect.
Large 2tb+ HDD (exFAT) support, easy HDD access...
If this project is dead then it is a shame. This was a step forward for OPL internal HDD support. I hope the official branch picks this up at some point. With the imminent release of the MemCard Pro 2 and GameDB/GameID support needed within OPL for it, (the MemcardPro 2 creators say support for...
I just got it out of storage a few days ago. The console has never been banged about or left powered on for excessive amounts of hours, the most I would play it for was prob 3 hours or so at a time.
I guess I’ll see how it goes for a few days, keep an eye on the temps and see what happens. If...
PS3 is not worth the effort then, not for the handful of games that can’t be played elsewhere. Back in the box it goes.
I don’t know why I’m surprised, Sony products as a whole haven’t had the bulletproof build quality they were once known for since the 90’s. The PS3 will join the numerous dead...
Is this de-lidding actually needed? Just got my old CECHP03 out of storage a few days ago but now I’m wondering if I’m not better off just putting it back in the box and emulating the few games that I wanna play that aren’t available on any other console.
A de-lid sounds like a lot of work with...
That is good info, thanks. I will check temps again later. I'm sure when I measured last it was at 72c in the XMB after I had been gaming for 30 mins or so.
What temps would be considered normal then?
I started to strip down the console but got stopped in my tracks by a big white sticker covering up the ribbon cable on the bottom of the BD drive, got paranoid about it ripping the cable if I pulled it off. :) I did manage to get a huge amount of...
Me again lol. I installed webMAN MOD a moment ago and my PS3 fans went absolutely batshit!! The only way I could stop them was to uninstall it again. Is this a compatibility issue with the 4.90CFW?
My temps are around 70c, I don't know if that's normal or not for an old Fat console (CECHP03)...
