    Thanks, I got XD, I had to use the prompt to manually convert a pendrive to MBR and then use the windows disk manager to format the partition.

    I already tried to use it in recovery mode, I already took the control. The problem is that I changed the HD is not an OFW update. My console asks for a firmware version 4.87+ and even I put the HFW 4.87.1 it does not accept.

    I can't update my ps3 to 4.87.1

    Today I changed the HD of my super slim ps3 and when I went to install HFW 4.87.1 the ps3 did not recognize it, neither the HFW or OFW. Can someone tell me how I fix this? or could they make a backup available for me to use? Before you ask fat drive 32. PS3 folders> UPDATE> PS3UPDAT.
