No problem. I had the 40nm on hand, but since they are very expensive, I would use 65nm from now on unless that changes. Of course there is nothing wrong with 65nm if someone wanted it. :)

CXD5300GGB is the model number of the 40nm RSX I installed, so yes it was changed.
The Tantilizer cards are replacements for the NEC/TOKIN capacitors that have been engineered by Mr. @RIP-Felix to be comparable to the performance of the original parts.

This shows a rather serious lack of understanding about the mechanics of BGA flip chips.
IF what you are saying was true, as soon as your board cools down off your BGA machine, it would no longer be flexed and thus 0 revival would occur. Simply heating does not and cannot revive a chip with BGA...

The ELPIDA XDRs are very sensitive.
I touched one only very slightly while delidding Cell and the thing bent. It seems to use some really soft and easy to damage material on the edge area instead of the normal one. So weird.

For sure the pressure test is not 100%, but when identifying a failed BGA it is fairly good at providing a positive result (that BGA is failed), but not very reliable at providing a negative result (BGA is ok).
