has anybody tried this? the chip is a 463A voltage regulator, I found it in a different thread here in psx-place, this is a possible solution for 8002f1f9 issue, I haven't tried it yet though

here is a more closer look, according to the previous photo those are the connection point, as I understand the chip is a Mitsumi 463A voltage regulator, and that pin number 8 is a 3.3v_standby_rail_1 ,

Thanks for the info DoublesAdvocate, do you happen to known if there are any repair tutorials or info about the ps3 super slim not turning on? if I press power, the light goes green for 3 to 6 seconds then goes red light.. i tried replacing the power supply unit but still the same
