Damn, while it seemed we were having the exact same issue the difference for me is I'm already using the correct nor html for my PS3 (slim CECH 2001A). I'm not sure what else to try. Even tried formatting my usbs with different allocation sizes but no luck.

I have tried 2 different sticks, have reformatted both of them to fat32, I've tried both setting home page to blank and homepage to the exploit and same results. Also would like to mention that I updated to OFW 4.82 using the same stick fine.

I'm experiencing the exact same thing as silk, but wired.

I 'm unable to install Ferrox 4.82 (md5 matches btw) despite the web exploit returning "Success" and shutting down. I see some people saying to wait a few minutes for the exploit but mine shuts down instantly which makes me think it's shutting down before writing to the nor.

Oh damn.. :( I'll keep trying, hopefully it'll work. Is your ps3 a CECH-2001A too btw?

My PS3 instantly shuts off the second the page says success. Is this normal? I've been retrying for about 3 hours. I've confirmed the flsh.hex MD5 and it's also in the root, using the right USB slot, slim CECH-2001A, and using nor-482.html. I even tried another flash drive and got the same...
