i dont think sony has touched any of the PS2 Emu's since 2014 at the latest, theres really no reason to, and sony wont add any game fixes or emu adjustments for COK-002 boards as they are obsolete now

you reflowed? very obvious that you have a defective RSX. or some other damage now too. you have GLOD.

i tried and diagnosed everything related to the bluray drive, different drives, connectors, etc. no luck

a smaller CELL on a 90nm console would be insane, it would be so quiet and run so cool.

the RSX has failed, a new 40nm or 65nm RSX will need to be installed.

i had a odd issue like this on a CECHA unit a few months back, it would basically be GLOD in any application, discs did work however, but to fix the GLOD in apps i just pressed the eject button on the console and the app immediately worked, not sure what caused that, i remarried a donor drive...

any RSX can fail, just depends on the specific console, it could be 90nm or 28nm and give up the ghost, since your unit is 90nm, i would just use it until it dies, and as long as its cool and stays under 70c it should last a lifetime:)

i have talked to @RIP-Felix about your issue the last few days, i haven't tested irisman specifically but, i have had 0 issues on Evilnet 4.89 CFW so far, PS2 ISOs work fine also. i will test irisman soon and let you know what happens. EDIT: i guess i lied, irisman is on my system and it works...
