My buddy Johnny just overclocked a Golden Goose Batch 40nm (CXD5300GGB) in his watwrcooled frankie to 1200/1050 with overvolt. It wasnt fully stable and he had to back off to 1000/1000, but that is a truely stable 1 GHz PS3. Also he could do that without overvolting.
Well, webman mod got an update and evilnat's new CFW make arbitrarily changing clocks speeds in real time super easy now. And when it freezes it's not persistant So it just reboots back to normal timings. We definately live in the future.
