I just got an idea to stream the games from a remote linux box. Assuming there are no problems with bandwidth, is it feasible? Also, if the machine happens to be behind firewall, what ports should be opened?
I'm a bit out of the loop here with all the nightlies and fixes for them available. I still have custom pkg from @atreyu187 RetroArch.PS3.v1.6.0+.CEX.PS3.pkg installed. So my question is, should I hold off from installing latest nightly build and fix from @Ezio and stay with that custom 1.6.0?
Thanks for clarifying this. The reason I asked was, in Webman-mod's filebrowser /net0 is accessible just like regular directory and dirlisting is provided. So I thought it would be possible to fool the system by symlinking it.
Just tested it, works great. Thanks.
However... Would it possible to recompile this version of RetroArch to make it possible to Load Content via samba shares with the help of ps3netsrv? I mean, either add /net0 to the directory list or somehow make a symlink for it via /dev_usb009 or similar...
