I don't think it's as simple as putting the old flasher and dumper on the .me site. bgtoolset has a lot of extra checks and functionality's that the "standalone" versions of the flashers and dumpers do not have. You need to remember that using the old flasher and dumper is done at your own risk...

TBH - unless there is a specific reason that you want CFW (like in my case, I wanted to basically "region unlock" the console, PS3HEN will really get you pretty much all you need while the toolset is down :)

Yes, they are all on github and on PSX-PLACE. I'll type out a full tutorial tomorrow when I wake up :) but to answer the immediate question - all the dumper and flashing stuff is either here or on github (they are official sources). But yeah, as mentioned, they are specifically targeting 4.85...
