Yes, you must desolder it in order to read it. There's a method to backup it without desoldering but it require some soldering on the board. Also I don't remember where I found that picture with the explaination
Yep, there's some error but when I tried to modify the post to correct them, it won't apply changes
Most likely is a driver issue or you didn't connect well the NOR in the clip
At the moment, for what I know, it's not possible. The PS4 will check for the bluray driver board before updating and they're paired with the motherboard so you need it.
So i've tried:
1) BT module + Jumper
2) BT module and no Jumper
3) No BT Module + Jumper
4) No BT Module no Jumper
but the results are always the same. Iìve also checked for missing parts but nothing noticed
I would be very happy to have a short, at least I could figure it out what it could be, but in my case just nothing. Tomorrow I'll try to see if there's continuity in the NOR pin, but it did this before I dessoldered the NOR
Yes, I just tried to set better the module to see if it would works. Well I've tried to compare at my best and no, nothing else missing. I also dessoldered the NOR to see if it was the problem
Little sad news, my PS4 won't turn on but the PSU is good, I've tested it. Also the little resistor and capacitor seems to be all there and the resistore shows continuity. Have some of you some clue of what to test?
