    Thanks for the info! No shorts around the IC and no heat coming from the bottom of the board anywhere. I replaced the fuse with a 3A 32V to test and the ps3 came back from the dead :) I will source a proper replacement but for now I believe this ps3 is on it's way to full recovery. Thanks for...

    Never mind, I guess trying to find a fault at midnight is not the best idea. F6001 is blown so that is most likely my issue.
