PS3 Fault finding YLOD with the SYSCON - First steps and Error reporting

Well since he already tried running the python script I assumed that he already connected the pads to his serial adapter, why would he try to run the script without connecting the pads?

    PS3 Docker container for ps3netsrv

I finally had some time to automate the build for the images, new releases are now easier for me to manage. ARMv7 as well as i386 (x86) systems are now supported as well. Only thing left on my todo list is finding a way to automatically trigger a new build of my ps3netsrv Docker image if a new...

No Sound with HDMI Audio Extractor while In-Game

The X-Fi Titanium fixed my problem, even though I haven't yet understoood where the difference is to other soundcards, especially newer ones because I also tried the Creative X-Fi HD USB for 70 bucks which didn't work and gave the same results as the LogiLink box for 20. The Titanium also...

No Sound with HDMI Audio Extractor while In-Game

So I recently found out, that there actually is a game, that has sound with my setup! Ni no Kuni delivers perfect sound via the optical out connected to my PC. I also found out that the soundcard is definitely the culprit. So I ordered a Creative X-Fi Titanium which should be able to at least...

Which is the fastest way to load backups? (USB vs SATA vs ps3netsrv & ISO vs JB)

This is the first time I've heard that ISOs are slower than JB, especially over the network.. Alright, I could get myself an SSHD, the thing is, since I have around 1.2TB PS3 games, not counting in the 400GB PSX and PS2 games, I can't even fit them all onto the drive since the PS3 doesn't...

How do I access certain xRegistry settings via webMAN-MOD?

Alright, so what did you mean by that? This kinda confuses me now, because I can't really understand why I need the checksum and where I need it to change xsettings. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding something.. :ambivalence:

How do I access certain xRegistry settings via webMAN-MOD?

Awesome thank you! Edit: I'd like to know where the checksum is actually relevant, I thought if I find and edit the right subs, that I could just edit values within the xRegistry like bguerville said in his post. From what it seems within the source code of stoker I've found on line 174 within...

How do I access certain xRegistry settings via webMAN-MOD?

Thanks aldos, that makes things already easier! Does someone have the latest source for stokers XRegistry Editor? His homepage isn't online anymore.

How do I access certain xRegistry settings via webMAN-MOD?

That helps, with all the info you gave me I should be able to make this work and I even learned something about C, thank you again! I guess I I'll make two backups of the xRegistry for each setup first and compare the values that have changed so I can find out which settings I'd have to change...

How do I access certain xRegistry settings via webMAN-MOD?

That's how I imagined how it'd work, even if it's a little tedious someone has to do it, thanks a bunch for your help! I'll set up my build environment this weekend and try it out. @bguerville Since your explanations are great, I'm curious to know how already defined settings can be accessed...

No Sound with HDMI Audio Extractor while In-Game

So I've tested it with editing the PARAM.SFO, didn't work at all. I've also tried playing some PSX games, but they also don't have any audio, so editing the PARAM.SFO files wouldn't be the solution I need anyway.. I've tried enabling DTS, but that gave me the same results, PCM should be the way...
