This PS3 slim originally had a bad CR2032 battery, that's why the syscon error code has the year 1999. It's been replaced with a new one while I repasted the chips.

Looks like my 2001B is the exception, not the rule. It was stable at 700/850 for GT5, and somewhat stable on GT6 before slightly artifacting at 60c+ on the RSX.
It's got about 12 days of run time, so the NEC/TOKINs aren't worn out.
I always use 650/875 now, and that's slightly higher than 850...
I made a new benchmark video for Sonic Unleashed for the opening in-game cutscene and Act I (skip to 3:02 for the run). I include the cutscene after the cinematic (that one is just a pre-rendered movie).
I recommend 650/800 for 20XX PS3s. Mine is fully stable at 650/875.
My console is actually a 2001B, it just has a bigger 256GB Hard Drive instead of 120GB. Yes, 700/850 OC works fine on mine. I think it's a decent overclock for the additional power used.
