The original SCE logo wasn't a coldboot.raf file, so it's technically impossible to recreate it exactly, the only option is to make it in photoshop.

Can I just backup the old file and replace it whenever I want the colours back?

Is this a permanent thing? Will it completely wipe my colours so that I only have black?

I do - what I mean is that when the ps3 starts up, it briefly shows a different colour that corresponds to the month, then it switches to what I set it to. I want it to be my colour all the time. Are your black backgrounds extra colour options, or is it a theme?

I mean like match it with my colour. For example, I've set my xmb background colour to green, so I want the startup animation to always be green too

Just discovered that this colour changes each month - is there no way to remove this?

I installed rebug, everything works smoothtly, except that the bootscreen is STILL red!

Ok thanks, I was just scared that maybe ferrox/rebug compatibility would be an issue.

It's just a different font and says interactive instead of computer, maybe I'll try modify it. Thankyou so much though! I just meant before, will the gameboot plugin you gave me work on rebug 4.82.1 le?

Hm ok, I just really don't want to risk bricking my console again. They're both 4.82 so in theory wouldn't it work? Or are ferrox and rebug very different? As for the coldboot, it's a different one and doesn't look very nice, but thanks for trying anyway. The "PS3" one doesn't look that bad anyway.

So even if I try to reapply the gameboot it won't work?
