So how would I patch it? As I said I'm new to this but follow instructions very well. All I really want to do is be able to download a game from the internet and install/play it on my ps3.

Can you point me in the right direction to downgrade 4.75 to 3.55? I would greatly appreciate it. So I found the 3.55 official firmware. Do I need a flasher of some sort or just put it on a thumb drive and install through system update on ps3?

I would really like to try this but am new to this whole thing. Should this work on a CECH3001B? Do I need to have some sort of other software or anything to do this or put it on my thumb drive and install from external storage as a system update?
