I start the ps2 and then hold the triabgle button until opl appears. If I don't hold the button, opl won't start. And the ps2 screen where it says "browse" will appear

Nope. That's why we went to the repair shop, and that is why he installed opl. Also he said it is installed on the memory card if that helps

When my ps2 couldn't read discs. I took it to a repair shop. The guy installed opl on it but he didn't use freemcboot as my ps2 doesn't support it. Now I want to update opl but without freemcboot just like the repair shop did.
