Not that I know of. A quick way to test if it is the hdd would be to boot without it and see if it works but I really doubt if it's going to help here.

if i give you a backup of my bios and it turns out to be corrupted would be able to help me patch it ive been trying to fix my ps3 for week only hope lefts is the e3 flasher.

As long as I'm around and you can get a good enough dump that it can be patched back together I'll do my best to give you a hand.

I just booted it up without the hdd and it still gave me ylod i guess the problem is in the nor chip

i just soldered a wire to the tri nor state and theres the power stays on is there anything i can do beyond this point

I plugged in the e3 flasher even with clamp and lights 1,2 and 6 is continiously blinking this ps3 is a pain up the ass what can i do

yeh i did at first it was working put it stopped because the the part that was connected to the e3 flasher came off. How do i fix "Already used e3flasher on 1 console" which is basically the error code

As far as I know using the Samsung Update should fix that. I'm not sure if having part of a dump on the sd could cause any errors or not.
