    How bad is it for the laser lens in long term to read burned discs ?

    how bad is it regardless of the content wether is files, photos, video, game backup or whatever i am talking about lenses in general wheter its from a game console, pc, bd player or whatever.

    PS2 ESR doesn't work.

    When I try to put in my burnt disc in, the ESR logo shows up then the screen is just black and doesn't flash with colors. What am I doing wrong? I patched the game with ESR patcher, I'm using Verbatim DVD-rs and I'm using a write speed of 4x. What is going on? How do I fix this?
