My PS2 model is a silver NTSC-U Slim (90000 series I believe) and I do not own a PS1 console. I've been using FreeDVDBoot for my PS2 backups, and it works great. Using backup DVDs is just as convenient and smooth as using the original PS2 game discs. But now I want to start using PS1 backups...
