    can a backwards compatible PS3 get the YLOD after repasting the RSX and CELL if it's only used to play PS1 & PS2 games?

    Temperatures after repaste are the same

    Yesterday I've repasted my ps3 slim 2104A it went great (no delid). Before repaste my temps in gta 5 were Thermal compound were not changed from 2012 (based on warranty sticker) and when i wiped it off it was not all dry Cell 59 RSX 61/62 now the temperature of cell stays almost all of the time...
