    PS3 Does this controller work on safe/recovery mode?

    I just want to know if this controller works on PS3 safe/recovery mode or not. I need the controller to do a system update with my USB, but I need to go in safe/recovery mode for it, and I heard that the controller I put worked. I just want to know if that is true, because I really need to know...

    (PS3) Any ps3 controllers that you guys recommend with "Smooth turning"?

    Edit: I mean't third party controllers in the title of the thread! I have a bunch of crappy controllers and Im looking for third party controllers that are responsive to the slightest turn of the left and right sticks, and with L2 and R2 buttons that take some pressing to go all the way down...
