Yes. As long as your Console is a CFW compatible model (minver of 3.56 or lower) , and you have patched 4.82 with PS3xploit 2.0 then you are good to go.
 
Yes, my ps3 is compatible with CFW. So, from OFW 4.82, can you install any CFW 4.8X up and down? And to part, you recommend that I stay in OFW 4.82 or update to OFW 4.84? Thank you

Once you patch your flash on 4.82 with the link I posted, then you can install 4.82 CFW. From there you can go to 4.84 CFW.


Edit: Before doing so, it might be worth installing 4.82 a second time from the recovery menu. Download from here.

You cannot install a lower firmware e.g. 4.81 without toggling your QA flag. Rebug Toolbox has the toggle feature built in, but for Ferrox and other CFW you need Habib's standalone QA toggler application. Once done, you can install firmware up and down (to the limit of your MinVerChk result) as you wish.
 
I have 2 ps3 slim compatible with CFW. The first one, I went from OFW 4.82 to CFW 4.82.2 ReBug and all the flash dumps always with 0 errors. The second I went from OFW 4.82 to CFW 4.84.3 Starbuged and all the dumps with 0 errors minus the last one (although apparently everything worked)

Corrupted ROS can be normal depending on the version of flash checker. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
