Tried to update my HEN for 4.90, now my PS3 is freezing when I select Enable HEN. I installed it via the alternate installer. I reinstalled HEN and that didn't fix the issue. Does anyone have any fixes?
current fw?
If you already installed hfw 4.90.1
Follow the instructions to solve the problem ... creating a new empty text file renamed boot_plugins.txt (put this one in fat32 usb drive in the ps3)

hello I do not understand where is how to have the file which allows to stop beuger by activating the HEN
The issue is that in 4.90 the LV2 kernel memory layout changed. It was the same since 4.81 through 4.89.
Older versions of webMAN MOD are expecting the old memory layout to apply the patches that allow games to play.
If the user updated to webMAN MOD 1.47.44 *before* install HEN, there won't be freeze issues because 1.47.44 is updated to recognize the new memory layout.
If the user installed HEN on HFW 4.90 with an old version of webMAN MOD still installed, the system will freeze.
The solution is to create an empty boot_plugin.txt in the root of /dev_usb000 to prevent the system load plugins.
Unplug the USB and update to webMAN MOD 1.47.44 to enjoy HEN.
btw aldos, how come that doesn't happen on Evilnat's 4.90.1?The issue is that in 4.90 the LV2 kernel memory layout changed. It was the same since 4.81 through 4.89.

How did you install the webman software without running it hen?4.90. I installed HFW twice (once through the XMB, the other through recovery mode).
That fixed it. Had to reinstall WebMAN and now it works without having to use my USB drive. Thanks!

are you using official hen? are you using any toolboxes or stores? Not working for me. Enable HEN just randomly started freezing for me this morning. I already had the latest version of webman and multiman installed. Was turning on and off fine. Now it just randomly started freezing on me when enabling. Tried this method to no avail.
