Help instaling cfw

Hi, im new to jailbreak scene
A few weeks ago i bought an second hand PS3 Slim cech 2004b and i did the flash nor memory method to install rebug cfw 4.84 everything worked fine.
But today i tried to Change the HDD to a 1tb one, i installed the ofw 4.84 and tried to install the cfw but everytime give me a data corrupted error and i tried another cfw,overflow but it give me the same error, my flashdrive or HDD was not the problem because i tried with the old HDD and the problem stayed, and i also tried to install the hybrid 4.84 and it worked.
So i updated to 4.85 and installed hen and it works and tried to install the overflow cfw 4.85 and it didnt work. What can i do to install cfw now? It is safe to wait for the rebug 4.85 and Patch nor memory again?

You didn't need to install OFW, which undid the exploit. You could have just reinstalled Rebug CFW and you'd have been fine since the flash exploit is not stored on the HDD but the NOR flash itself.

If you're still on HFW 4.84 you can repatch your NOR and reinstall Rebug or whatever firmware you like.
 
I installed 4.85 to use hen for now because i was afraid to do the exploit again and brick the PS3.
So when that exploit comes to 4.85 i can do it safely right?

When the flash writer for 4.85 is released, you'll be able to re-exploit your PS3 on HFW 4.85 and then install CFW again. Until it's released, it's just a matter of waiting patiently. :)

my colleague sent a cfw to test on my super slim 4000 series i installed cfw on super slim and now it turns on and then off.how do i get my super slim for ow to run again?

I think you're bricked with possibly no way of fixing it.

its fake. how did the notice know it was going to screenshoted. and if by message it means email...i have never seen an email with folders on the website part.

if there is ever cfw on superslim it will be news on this site. ps3xploit is not working on that. as far as i know no one is working on it directly.
