How to upgrading/replacing internal HDD of PS3 with HEN

Hello all, I've checked the FAQs but it seems that the information about this matter isn't yet available there (unless I missed it of course).

I have PS3 CECH 3000 with HFW firmware 4.85.1 and HEN version 2.4.0 that can running homebrews (including MultiMan mmCM). The HDD is 320GB and I plan to upgrade it to 1TB soon.

So my question is how to do it (replacing the internal HDD) without losing anything from previous HDD? Can I just clone the 320GB to 1TB with Windows OS? I don't think it'll work though.

I read the CFW can do it with internal program but I can't info for the same situation with HFW HEN.

Any input is useful. Thank you.

Nope, you can't clone it with windows..you will have to use the backup utility in the settings of the ps3 (Its necessary a USB HD to receive that backup)..with the backup in hands.. Replace the HD..install the firmware and restore the backup in the new internal HD. (You will have to be patient..because the backup/restore will take a long time..)

I'm familiar with backup utility that in XMB (have used it before). So if I'm doing it from there all the contents will be transferred (including the HEN) ?
