Linux on ps3 hen

I just installed rebug toolxbox on ps3hen, so it's limited options, but not all options, what happens if i install petiboot on usb from rebug toolbox with iso of red ribbon on fat32, and boot the otherOS with (LV1 Patches : Use Current) ? will brick my ps3 ?

I'd assume no, mainly because it involves resizing the flash and i'd assume it needs both R/W to do so as it also has to write to it to flash petitboot.

dont do it. red ribben is old and slow anyway and it probably will hurt your ps3.
