Hello everyone. I have a Playstation 5 and I, like many, am worried about the long term prospects of the system with it's cooling. I was wondering if it is possible to take the motherboard out and put it in a custom case where I can put better heat sinks and better the airflow. I mean I have a gaming PC (Intel i9-12900k, RTX 3080 TI) that because of the case, airflow, and heat sink it never gets HOT HOT. I have to imagine the same is possible with the Playstation 5.
I'd love to 3D print a custom case to be able to have the motherboard lay horizontally, add modern top notch heatsinks (Noctua, etc), and have space on top of the case for my PS5 Screen G-STORY 15.6" Inch IPS 4k portable monitor. I do not care if the case is big like a PC or not.
I could probably absorb the cost. So my question is more technical. Is this possible? Obstacles? Are there services that already do this?
