Rumours are saying that ps5 is coming sooner than we think as sony playstation 4 sales wane, also we can not trust anyone rumours come just from people and not from the company itself. Also they are saying that there is going to be Backward Compatibility that u can play PS4 games in PS5, rumours say that PS5 is going to be announced in the end probably of this year And will be released in 2020 lets hope so.

Although next PS console can run all past console titles, it doesn't mean that the console able to run PSX and PS2 discs. You have to re-buy the old game in order to run it on PS5. Meanwhile PS5 have no issues running PS3 and PS4 game discs but a special patch required for smooth operation.

Who gives a f*4k it will be here when its here, the first model will be a piece of crap and the first runs your the test pilots for a premium price with a small game lineup that always gets boring quicker then you expect. Console are never worth getting until at least a year or two after its released. So in my view 3/4 years before its really relevant.

There's no confirmation of that... there's still only rumour, we might find out more after the PlayStation Experience, there has to be a very good reason they pulled out of E3, my guess is it has something to do with the PS5.

PS4 still kicks @ss, so dont expect a PS5 in the near future, maybe a 2020 reveal like the PS4 and a 2021 release date! But personaly, i would never go day one purchase, but i would like to buy it day-one, but after the PS3, i dont fall in the same trap, i like a stable system, not a system riddled with problems, as 1st revisions usualy are!

I know the Dev-Kits are already in the wild with 1st party studios, so its only a matter of time till a system spec gets leaked, like the PS4 did.

But if Sony manages to keep it at 399€, and add "i know it will not come but it could" backwards compatibility, its 75% day-one for me! But will have to see :)

It's worth getting next gen consoles, i saw some specs leaked playstation 5 with 8-10 teraflops, gtx 1080 ti has over 10 so remember what ps5 can do if it has 8-10 teraflops. Also its worth buying PS4 because it has good games good exclusive games, that's why God of war was GOTY 2018, also in 2019 we are going to have death stranding, TLOU2, Ghost of tsushima and much more all exclusive PS4 games.

i don't think the next gen consoles are going to be 399€ none of them because they will be much stronger, i think ps5 can be 499€.

If Sony repeates the same mistake they did with the PS3, being 499€, then i assure you most people that can even afford, will not buy it, and skip it in favour of another platform, so Sony knows 399€ its the sweetspot for it.

I bought the Ps1 in 2000
Ps2 in 2004
Ps3 in 2010
