PS3 HEN, license issue

Hi, I'm using a ps3 HEN with 3.87 HFW.
But when I try to launch a game, I see a message who indicate that I need to renew my license. At first, I thought it was a problem with rap files, but it was not.

Do you think I'd have to uninstall HEN to update my ps3 to 3.88 firmware and then install HEN again ? or maybe it is something different ?

Just update your firmware to 4.88 and redownload your game from the PlayStation Store.

That means one of 3 things.

1. There is no proper license rif file in your profile exdata folder because you never manually or through homebrew generated a rif file from your rap file. If no valid rif file is found (created manually or by homebrew or by HEN if & when a valid rap file is available), the game cannot start.

2. The game rif file in your profile exdata folder exists but it is invalid, that can happen when spoofing idps or trying to use a rif file from another console etc... When you change act.dat (console activation file created by PSN, fake act.dat can be generated by HEN too) and/or IDPS, installed rif files are no longer valid.

3. If you are not installing rif files at all but instead you are relying on HEN to generate the rif files on the fly from rap files, the rap file for this game might be invalid or it has not been copied to the places HEN scans for rap files. How did you get it & where did you put it?

Try activating the account using the latest Apollo Save Tool.

Apollo Save Tool > User Backup > Activate PS3 Account > Activate PS3 Account (act.dat)

On HFW 4.88 (HEN disabled), unless the console idps is banned, if a console is not yet activated, one is always better off getting a proper act.dat from PSN than using a fake one.

I am new on using HEN . HAN V3.2.2 is isnstalled on my PS3 console and encounter same problem (ask me to renew licenese). I do like to get a proper act.dat from PSN but no sure is HEN disabled. If I reboot console and not click on HEN icon, Is this means now HEN is disabled and it is safe to go to PSN ?

But just those day, I encounter the "renew license" message screen again. I believe the rap file is correct, because I test it under PS3 simulator "RPCS3.EXE" on PC, the PGK+RAP files can be launch.

HAN V3.2.2 + HFW 4.9 is using. Not all the PKG games wlll do m but just few games. The games show "renew license " screen are "NPJB00619" , "NPUB30701" ,...

Try to activate your system under PSN "Account Settings" if it still asks for the license, redownload the game from PStore
