PS3HEN alt installer version instant crashes?

Currently running both a PS3 3k Slim and 4k SS model. On both after the alternate installer installs the HEN shortcut when I go to enable I get an instant crash. I have tried a couple of prerquisites such as installing HAN, not installing HAN, installing HAN and enabling as rewrite flash and doing nothing except installing. Literally all of these insta crash. Is this a known bug or is it just a problem with me and/or the HDDs inside of my consoles? Am I doing something wrong? Let me know.

it installs but wont enable? make sure you enable hen right after starting ps3. do not play a disc or watch netflix and then try. enable when ps3 first start.

Yeah, I don't do anything before enabling. Display What's New is off, same as autostart. I don't have webMAN or webMAN MOD installed. It's just that alt installer (which is the Remote Play one) doesn't install properly or something. I have to install HAN and then use the HEN PKG. Very strange.

reinstall hfw twice. before trying to install hen/han first bookmark the install page. now turn off browser confirm close. delete cookies, search, authorization info, and cashe. back out of the browser. open the browser and install.

Alright, imma try this and get back to you. I think where I've been going wrong is reinstalling HFW only once to reset the exploit.
