    Hey man,

    I have a problem with my super slim,


    Apparently HEN is absolutely going nuts on 4.92, the system keeps freezing a lot.

    Tried different hard drives and reinstalled HEN so many times, but yet the system still decides to freeze a lot.

    P.S. HEN is driving me nuts right now.

    Is there anyway you could fix this issue? Thanks.


    Model:4001A. Running HEN 3.4.1 OpenBeta.

    My PS3 Slim's RED power led blinks 5 time during boot but it runs normally. I haven't noticed any problems so far. Just wanted to know if its alarming. I am on Evilnat 4.91 B15

    I think you are the legend who has enough experience to answer!

    As you know if you replaced any default system certificate! your ps3 will keep shutting down!

    Sony made this protection to prevent anyone from messing around,

    I read a lot about this issue but I'm not sure about that, The hashes (sha1) for all certificates are stored in somewhere

    (might in VSH.SELF) and in some ssl related module (.sprx) so if you replace a cert you also need to change its hash

    There is a function which load them by name/path , check hash and check size or something else.

    I know that nothing is impossible but how to overcome this issue? I mean do you think there will be a way to bypass this issue and being able to replace default system certificates ?

    yes, you are right that there would need to be some vsh/modules patching, but this should be entirely possible. We have looked into this a bit for the SSL cert with .net, but didnt really get too far into researching or RE work.

    Hello, I would ask about the tutorial you did for psn bypass. I have a file which supposedly has been patched but it still ask connect to the psn. The problem is I have no their rap. Would be someway to make it work?

    Hello, I think than the problem is not about rap (I can install and execute it without problem), the issue is it ask psn connection and I could no use it.
    Today I tried to mod using your tutorial
    and I was unable to decrypt the eboot.bin to eboot.elf

    Hello @esc0rtd3w, I successfully updated from OFW 4.82 to 4.84 without silk_webkit.sprx, the "offline debug package enabler" works fine, but "offline HAN enabler" doesn't work.
    Can you help me? I need the "offline HAN enabler" scripts for 4.84.

    Swap HDD technique:

    1. Position OFW 4.82, install the HAN support files.
    2. Replace 4 files from 4.84: vsh.self, index.dat, version.txt and in /dev_flash/sys/internal/sys_init_osd.self
    (In this stage the PS3 will not boot (enter Safe Mode).
    3. Swap with another HDD, install OFW 4.84, with the purpose of coreOS changing to 4.84.
    4. Swap the HDD again with "HAN support files" installed

    Hi @esc0rtd3w, i have a GTA V in disc and i use HAN and HEN that stuff and i have aproblem everytime i try downloading the latest game updtae (80029564) do u have any idea of what could it be? btw i activate debug pkg enabler and HAN before trying to update
