    Update: I found schematics for my PS2(SCPH - 50004). I found that there are two fuses for the HDD PS09 and PS10. I checked it for continuity and they are fine. Therefore the issue I was having was due to the Gamestar Adapter. It sucks that the official NA did not make its way into my country...
